Certain diseases are caused by a defect in a single gene that is passed from parents to their offspring. If you or a family member has a history of such a disease, then prenatal diagnostic testing may be available. The doctors at RPG will discuss the genetics of the disease in question with you and help estimate the risk for passage to your baby.
