History of Previous Pregnancy Affected by Genetic Condition

Most genetic conditions have an increased risk of recurrence. If you or your spouse have a genetic condition, or if you have a previous child with a genetic condition, your obstetrician may recommend consultation with RPG. At your visit, the doctors at RPG will discuss your history and give you estimates for recurrence. Sometimes, there may be a diagnostic test available to determine if your baby is affected by the genetic disease in question.
